2. Church Weekend

There will be a Church Weekend at Scoughall, 10-12 June 2022.  Part of our vision for St Andrew Blackadder is to be an intergenerational community.  This weekend, when we can relax as we do share food, walk, do various activities, talk and worship together will create the kind of environment that can help this happen.  Attached is a leaflet giving more details.  Paper copies will be distributed on Sunday.

3. Real Easter eggs

Sunday is the final day for ordering Real Easter eggs. I’m delighted that 50 eggs have already been ordered for the Foodbank. Here is a link to a short video abut the colour leaflet that is included in all the egg boxes: Real Easter Egg book 2022 – YouTube

4. Helpers for Beacon Services

Ann Cubitt who organises the Beacon service (every Thursday, 1 pm in the chapel) is looking for a few volunteers who might be able to assist with setting up the chapel before the service and putting things away afterwards. Please contact her directly or through the office if this is something you might be able to help with,.

5. Holiday Club Planning Meeting – message from Hazel Gray

Over the last three years, the churches of North Berwick and Dirleton have run a number of activities to reach out to children and families under the banner of ‘North Berwick Churches Holiday Club’.

As we look towards Easter and summer, it would be great to get interested people together to discuss plans for reaching out to children and families over the next few months. A meeting will be held on Monday 28th February at 7.30pm at Abbey Church hall.

If you are interested but can’t make Monday’s meeting, please email hazel.abbeychurch@hotmail.com so she can keep you up to date with plans.
