June 2022, Prayer Diary

1 Pray for those who find it difficult to understand and respond to all the new forms of language and communication they receive.

2 Pray for all who will be taking part in the Guild’s Summer Rally today in Longniddry Church.

3 Pray for all who will be involved in the Open Day at Scoughall this Saturday and for all the camps which will be held here during the summer months.

4 Give thanks for all that the queen has achieved since she ascended the throne and pray for her health, work and witness in the days ahead.

5 We celebrate Pentecost when God gave the church his Holy Spirit. Pray for Neil as he leads worship, for those attending the services and for those who will receive a CD or DVD.

6 Pray for those who are very concerned that the situation in Ukraine will lead to a much larger global conflict.

7 Pray for the members of our Kirk Session as they meet this evening.

8 Pray about the arrangements for the Church Weekend and for all those who will attend.
Remember the speaker, Andy Bathgate.

9 Continue to remember Hamish, Annika and their family and pray for their plans for the summer
months.

10 Remember all who have offered to help with the Open Doors rota and pray for them as they make contact with those who will come to see round the church.

11 Pray for all who will be attending the Church Weekend at Scoughall.

12 Pray for the minister and members of the Baptist Church as they meet for worship today.

13 Pray for someone you know in our fellowship who is finding it hard to cope with a
deterioration in their sight and hearing.

14 Remember those who lead a Home Group and for those who attend. Pray that they will be a help and encouragement to all who are part of it.

15 Pray for those you know in North Berwick who are having to cope with serious financial problems and cannot seem to find a solution.

16 Many older people are worried about their future and seem unable to find help. Pray that you may be able to give support and encouragement to someone you know.

17 Pray that you may be a good witness to all you meet in the coming days.

18 As tomorrow is Father’s Day, pray for those you know who would love to be a parent but for various reasons are unable to be so.

19 We continue to listen to what the Spirit has to say to the church.

Pray for the young people who are members of church families or who live in North Berwick

20 young babies

21 pre-school children

22 primary school age young people

23 secondary school pupils

24 adolescents at university or college

25 young adults starting employment

26 We listen to the next message from Jesus to the church found in Revelation.

27 Remember all who are terminally ill and pray for the carers who are looking after them.

28 Continue to pray for Douglas and his work in the Parish of Traprain.

29 Remember all the visitors who will attend our services or visit the church during the coming weeks.

30 Pray for Hazel and her team as they continue their preparations for the Summer Mission.
