5th August 2022, Weekly Update

1. East Lothian Young Carers Art Exhibition & Studio Sale

 

We are delighted to welcome back local artists Pam McKenzie & Wendy Portway who will be selling original artwork, prints & cards with donations going to the East Lothian Young Carers. Thursday 11^th –  Saturday 13^th of August in the Chapel from 10.00 – 5.00 pm.

To help with the fundraising the Beacon will be staying open until 3pm on the 11^th serving tea, coffee & cakes in the hall and will move down to the front vestibule on the 12^th & 13^th from 11 – 3pm.

 

2. The Iona Community

There are a number of vacancies available, please consider applying, or sharing with others who may be qualified and interested.

Permanent posts. We are currently looking for an Executive Director and a Membership Engagement Administrator. Both roles are home based but will require the successful applicant to be able to attend regular meetings in Glasgow, with some meetings on Iona and Mull.

Volunteer posts. We have opportunities for volunteering on Iona, from September onwards.
