01/10/2024 Pray for safety for Neil as he cycles around Spain. May he have a relaxing and inspirational time.
02/10/2024 Remember and give thanks for Janet and Nancy as they respond sensitively to the requests of those who would like prayer through those in the prayer chain.
03/10/2024 People have very varying views on how we should deal with climate change and sustainability issues. Pray for wisdom and patience when speaking to those who hold vastly different opinions.
04/10/2024 Pray for members of our congregation who have moved into a Nursing Home or Care Home which is far from North Berwick and who are now finding it difficult to feel part of the fellowship.
05/10/2024 Remember Paul, Stacy, Mary and all the others who are involved each Sunday in the sessions for the children and young people.
06/10/2024 Pray for Ann Cubitt as she leads our worship this morning.
07/10/2024 Pray about the Gospel Project: Hungry for Good News

that the 2024 gospels will be taken and that the gospels will be read.

08/10/2024 that the Holy Spirit will open people’s heart as they read and for people to believe in Jesus and commit their life to him.
09/10/2024 Remember the young people in our congregation who are starting their courses at college or university or are returning to continue their studies. Pray that they will make contacts which will encourage their Christian faith.
10/10/2024 Pray for those who did not receive the grades they had required and are still wondering how the next steps will affect their future.
11/10/2024 Pray for Ann, Donna, Margot, Mary, Richard and others as they prepare to lead our worship from time to time.
12/10/2024 Remember someone you know in the fellowship who has fallen out with a member their family. Pray that they can find a route of reconciliation and that harmony can be restored.

26/10/2024 helping Rev Muriel Pearson who is developing a garden for reflection at the C of S site beside Lake Galilee.
27/10/2024 Pray for Gillian Couper, a minister in training, who has just begun her placement in St Andrew Blackadder. During the services we will be celebrating 30 years of the Beacon.
28/10/2024 Pray for all who have been affected by one of the Food Banks in our area. Remember the staff and those who need to use the services of those that are still operating.
29/10/2024 Pray for Rev Douglas Nicol and the members of the Guild as they gather this afternoon for a session entitled Round the World by Train.
