01/12/2024 Pray or all the workers and families who will attend Messy Church this afternoon. Remember too, the clergy and members of Our Lady Star of the Sea
02/12/2024 Continue to pray for Hamish and his recovery after his fall. He was due to leave hospital at the end of November but needs a great deal of help and  support.
03/12/2024 Members of Lothian and Borders Presbytery meet this evening. Pray that they will have and enjoyable and profitable gathering.
04/12/2024 Give thanks that volunteers have come forward to run an SU group in Law Primary School.  Remember Derek Harley as he organises Advent prayer meetings for the work of SUin local churches.
05/12/2024 Remember the pastors and congregations in Gangtok and all the associated churches.
06/12/2024 Give thanks and pray for Mari and for all the contacts and visits she makes.
07/12/2024 Pray for those who are homeless and having to cope with the cold wet weather at his time of year.  Ask or guidance to help put words of help in actual action.
08/12/2024 Pray for Neil as he helps us to consider verses from Isaiah which should encourage us to get ready for Christmas.
09/12/2024 Pray about the Gospel Project: Hungry for Good News  that the 2024 gospels will be taken and that the gospels will be read.
10/12/2024 that the Holy Spirit will open people’s heart as they read and for people to believe in Jesus and commit their life to him.
11/12/2024 Pray for your neighbours and your witness in the area.
12/12/2024 Pray  for all who are organising and serving at the Beacon today Remember the speaker and all who ill attend the service afterwards.
13/12/2024 Give thanks for all our organists and musicians and for the positive contribution they make to  the worship each Sunday.
14/12/2024 Remember Rosemary and her team as they retell the Christmas Story this morning on the steps of the church. Pray or a positive reaction from those who listen.
15/12/2024 Pray for all the young people who are taking part in the Junior Church Nativity at the service this morning.
16/12/2024 Pray for all the nurses and doctors at the Health Centre who work hard to serve the community.
17/12/2024 Remember those you know who have family problems and ask for guidance to find out if, when and how you can help.
18/12/2024 Pray for those who are blind or deaf and find that the poor weather brings additional problems which have to be faced.
19/12/2024 Remember those who are having to spend Christmas in hospital and away from all their relatives and friends.
20/12/2024 Pray for Neil, Julie, Hilde and the other staff who have added duties to attend to over the Christmas period.
21/12/2024 Pray for yourself and relatives.
22/12/2024 Remember all who will  be involved in the Carol Service this evening and in particular for the singers who will lead the worship.
23/12/2024 Pray for those in our fellowship who have lost a loved one recently and are facing a very different Christmas period without them.
24/12/2024 Pray for Neil and all the others involved in the Christmas Eve worship today and for all who will attend.
25/12/2024 Pray for all who will attend our Christmas Day service and in particular those who do not normally come to a place of worship.
26/12/2024 Give thanks for all the happy experiences over the last few days but remember the lonely folk who have not enjoyed the celebratory period.
27/12/2024 Pray for all who have overspent during the festive period and are now worried about their financial future.
28/12/2024 Look again at the leaflet which we received about the Gift Day projects and pray for some of them each day.  Give thanks that our target of £40,000 has been reached. the ambitious plan to make heating the Church Hall net zero & providing eco-stoves to help Malawian families who cook over open fires.
29/12/2024 enabling Scripture Union to install solar panels at Scoughall assisting North Berwick Harbour Trust provide universal access to the West Beach from the Low Quay.
30/12/2024 helping Rev Muriel Pearson who is developing a garden for reflection at the C of S site beside Lake Galilee.
31/12/2024 Recall and give thanks for all the good things that have happened to you personally during 2024.
