The Beacon

The Beacon is the church’s window on the High Street.

The idea for the Beacon was conceived in 1994 by two of our members who recognised the need for a friendly, informal venue where visitors and locals alike could come and enjoy a hot bowl of soup, a chat, meet their friends and make some new ones. The Guild theme that year was ‘Let your light shine’ and so ‘The Beacon’ was born.

The Beacon is open to anyone who cares to drop in on a Thursday lunchtime between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
