1 Pray for those who would love to be planning a holiday later in the year but now cannot afford to go away.
2 Remember those who are shut in and have had no or very few visitors in the last few months.
3 Pray for the ministers and Kirk Sessions in North Berwick, Dirleton, Gullane and Aberlady as they meet to discuss the future pattern of ministry in our area.
4 Remember the minister and congregation in the Baptist Church as they meet for worship each Sunday.
5 Pray for elderly people who are worried and afraid after receiving unwanted telephone calls telling them that large sums of money have been taken out of their bank account.
6 Give thanks for all the time and effort which Ann and Derek have spent on aspects of production and distribution of the CDs and DVDs each week. Pray that they will get the offers of help which they are requesting.
7 Pray for Ricky as he heads the team which produce the AV side of the services each week. May more people offer to help him in this way.
8 Continue to pray for Julie as she monitors all the arrangements for church activities which are starting up again.
9 Pray for all the leaders who are continuing to provide a programme of events for the young people in our fellowship.
10 Continue to pray for the Ralston family in Sweden and all the other people you know who are living in different parts of the world
11 Remember the pastor and congregation in Martin Memorial Church in Gangtok as they worship this morning amidst all the worries and sadness of the Covid epidemic.
12 Pray for the young people who are attending surfing day camps with Scripture Union at Scoughall.
Pray for someone you know who is in a situation which is brought to mind by one of the following words.
13 ignored
14 afraid
15 anxious
16 lonely
17 worried
18 Pray for Neil and his family as he leads worship this morning in St Andrew Blackadder Church.
19 Pray for all who have responsibility for making decisions about the future pattern of ministry in our coastal towns and villages.
20 Remember all the visitors who are on holiday in our town at this time and for contacts they may make with members of our fellowship.
21 Pray for safety for all who are managing to go on holiday at this time. Remember too those who would love to but cannot afford to go away.
22 Pray that you will be a good witness as you communicate with those who live and work close to you
23 As the Olympics are scheduled to begin today pray for all the athletes taking part and for those who are anxious about the possible consequences of holding the event at this time.
24 Pray for Carol and all the staff and volunteers at the Day Centre, giving thanks for the marvellous work which they all do.
25 Remember someone you know who is going through a very difficult or unhappy time in their life and pray for guidance as you seek to help them.
26 Continue to pray for Hazel and all the leaders who will be taking part in the SU activities this week and for the young people who will attend.
27 Pray for all the doctors and nurses in the Health Centre and the Edington hospital.
28 Remember a family you know who have problems and do not seem to be able to see the way ahead.
29 Remember those who are still very worried about the Covid situation and are reluctant to go out as they used to do.
30 Pray for all the Home Group leaders as they plan for the future and consider the possible options as they begin to meet again.
31 Pray for teachers as they prepare for the start of a new term and for all the changes in the routine which they may face this year.
