2nd December 2022, Weekly Update

1. Sunday 2 December

Morning worship will be at 9.30 and 10.30 with the 10.30 live-streamed on YouTube. We will look at Daniel 6, the theme being Habits that result in Miracles.  

Messy Church will be held from 4 – 6 pm.  This is the Christmas Messy Church, a time for people of all ages to explore the Christmas story though crafts and worship.  Might this be something your friends and neighbours might want to be part of? Why not tell them about it, and offer to come with them.

 

2)   Church Christmas Card

We have created a Christmas Card with details of Christmas Services which we intend to distribute to all homes in the parish, which is the half of North Berwick to the East of the Church. There will be envelopes for each street available beside coffee on Sunday. Could you take a packet and deliver them?

If you live outwith the parish feel free to take a few cards and give them to friends, neighbours and family. An invitation to come with you to one of the service might be just what they are waiting for.

 

3)   CrossReach Stall

There will be a CrossReach Stall in the High Street Vestibule on Sunday 4th December, from 9am to 12 noon. Please come and buy Calendars, Christmas Cards and Wrapping Paper.

 

4)   Lothian Guilds Christmas Carol Service

On Monday 5th December at 2pm there will be a Christmas Carol Service at Chalmers Memorial Church, Gosford Road, Port Seton EH32 0HG. East Lothian Foodbank will receive the Offering plus Jingle Bag Donations. Please bring your gifts of food to the Carol Service. If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute food, please either hand it to Ann Braid on Sunday 4th, or put it in Tesco’s Foodbank Donations Box.

 

5)   Made for You Conference

This is a one day conference in Edinburgh for women organised by Lou Fellingham and friends.  A number of women from StAB have already booked and will be going. 6)   Prayer Gathering

Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
