9.30 am service will follow the usual format. Margot will lead the service. It will focus on Matthew 1:18-25. This is the service that will be live-streamed.
10.30 am service: Junior Church nativity.
7.00 pm: Carol Service. The Christmas Choir will sing. Neil will talk about the picture on the church’s Christmas card. The Beacon will serve refreshments in the hall afterwards.
People who would not normally attend a church service are open to doing so at Christmas time. Might a family member, friend, neighbour or colleague be interested in coming with you this Sunday? You’ll never know if unless you invite them.
2) Crossreach Rep.
CrossReach is the social care agency of the Church of Scotland. It provides all kinds of support to different groups in society. The role of congregational rep is vacant. The purpose of the role is to help the congregation stay abreast of the ministry of CrossReach. It’s an important but not too demanding role. A brief description is attached. If you think God might be calling you to take up this role please contact Julie in the office.
3) Christmas Services
Christmas Eve, (Saturday) – 7.00 pm (All Age) and 11.30 pm (Watchnight).
Christmas Day (Sunday): 10.30 am
Christmas Day is a Sunday – there will be no service at 9.30 am.
New Years Day is also a Sunday – there will be one service only at 10.30 am.
4) The Beacon
The Beacon will be open on as usual on the 22nd and again on the 29th for their Festive Beacon.
5) Prayer Gathering
Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
