Sunday is Pentecost when we celebrate God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. It is also a Communion Sunday when we gather to share in the Lord’s Supper. Services are at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The passage is 1 Peter 1:13-2:3 and the theme, Tasting the Goodness of God.
2) Kaleidoscope
The summer edition of Kaleidoscope (the quarterly congregational magazine) has been published. Please pick up your copy in the church building this weekend. Deliverers, please collect your packets.

3) Church Weekend 3,4 June
More than 130 people have signed up for what is going to be a great time of being together, worshipping God, enjoying the space Scoughall offers and growing in faith.
Volunteers to assist with baking, dishwashing and helping in the kitchen are needed. Sign-up sheets are on the noticeboard outside the church office.
4) Sunday 4 June
The 9.30 service will be in the church building as usual. The 10.30 service, along with Junior Church and YF will take place at Scoughall.
5) Muddy Church North Berwick, Sunday 28th May 2.30—4pm at the Anchor. All ages welcome, under 16’s must be accompanies by an adult. Email Robert to register – rdburgon@aol.com

6) Church Directory
The Church Directory helps us be the kind of church Jesus wants. It helps us get to know one another and keep in touch. Can I encourage everyone who is part of St Andrew Blackadder to opt in to the Directory. You choose how much information you want to share. This information is only circulated in the printed directory and never in a digital form.
Julie Lazonby is going to produce a new edition of the Directory during June. She will gladly chat with you about how the Directory works and how your details are kept secure. Her details are in the Directory or you can contact her through the Church Office.

7) Summer Holiday Club
The joint churches North Berwick holiday club will be running Mon 24th – Fri 28th July 2023.
Team – There are lots of opportunities to be involved. Please contact Hazel – hazel.abbeychurch@hotmail.com for more information, or come along to the team meeting on Thursday 1st June 7.30-9pm at Abbey Church Hall. All are welcome. Why not come and hear more.
Prayer, Each year the power of prayer makes a difference to Holiday Club. Please can you pray for this venture, for wisdom to make the most of this incredible opportunity and for physical and spiritual protection.
There will be a Commissioning Service on Sunday 23rd July 7-8pm. You are invited to come and lift the week to God in prayer and praise.

8) Christian Aid Coffee Morning 17 June 10 am
There will be a Coffee Morning to raise funds for Christian Aid in the Church Hall on June 17 between 10 am and 12 noon. If you can help on the day, provide home baking or have items for the gift stall please, contact Barbara Clark or Liz Craigie (details in the Directory or via the Office).
9) Young Adults Group The young adults group will be meeting for pizza at 6.30 on Wed 31st May at the Lawrie’s house. All 18-30’s (ish) folk are very welcome. 10) Prayer Gathering
Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
