3) Beacon Communion 8 June
Communion will be celebrated at the Beacon Service this coming Thursday – delayed from the end of May because of the Rotary Sale.
4) ParentSpace 9 June
After months of thinking, praying and planning ParentSpace launches this Friday. It’s a space for parents of preschool children to breathe, find support and make friends. Please pray for the team and tell any parents you know what’s happening.
5) Church Directory
Julie Lazonby is updating the St Andrew Blackadder church directory and would like to include details of everyone who attends church and who does not currently have an entry. Forms are available in the rear entrance. Please complete and return by 14th June. If you are currently in the directory please review your entry and let the office about any changes that are required.
6) Hunger Lunch 11 June
Hunger lunch will be served next Sunday at midday in the church hall. Why not take this opportunity to get to know others better while supporting the Orphans Project in Malawi?
7) Scam Email
This week at least two people have received a bogus email from Fr. Neil Dougall, with a pious sounding message, asking them to reply to the email.
My email account has not been hacked – so I can’t address the problem. This is someone impersonating me. On this occasion they did it so poorly it was pretty obvious. It is a warning, however, to be alert. If you get a message that seems to come from me, from the church office or anyone else in the church and it sounds off in anyway be very cautious. If in doubt phone to check.
8) Prayer Gathering
Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
Please contact the office for log on details.
