2. North Berwick Holiday Club 21-25 July
Plans are coming together and a good team has been recruited. Please pray that children and young people will come, that the good news of Jesus will be expressed clearly and lives will be changed.
3. Gift Day 2025
Your generous support for Gift Day last year helped transform the heating in the church hall. It was a technical and complex project that took many months to complete. The real benefit will be apparent this winter when the amount of CO2 the building produces will be substantially lower.
Part 2 of the project is to make the experience of being in the hall match the quality of the new heating system. At the moment there is a significant echo which makes conversation difficult and pipe band practice impossible. The curtains have reached the end of their life. Redecoration, particularly of the wood panelling, is needed. And better lighting will improve the ambience. Addressing these four things will cost £20,000 and this investment will set the hall up for at least the next decade.
The target for Gift Day is £40,000. Half will be given away. £5,000 will go to each of Deep Bed Framing (Malawi), Bible Translation (West Asia), Harbour Benches (N Berwick) and Midwifery Training (Pakistan). The other half will be for the church hall.
