1. Sunday 16 November
Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The theme is How Can I Find Hope? And the passage Revelation 22. This is the final session of the Bible Course, and looks at how Revelation, the last book in the Bible, completes the big story.
Christmas Choir
The Carol Service this year will be on Sunday 21 December at 7.00 pm. At it the Christmas Choir will sing. Rehearsals continue this Sunday at 11.50 am.
Church Directories
Copies of the new edition of the Church Directory can be picked up next to coffee. If you would like to contribute to the cost of your copy, please out £2 in the tub.
2. Hall Redecoration
Thank you for your generous contribution to this year’s Gift Day to meet the cost of redecorating the church hall. This will begin on Monday 17 November. The work will include fitting acoustic absorbing tiles and new blinds. For the next two weeks groups that meet in the hall will move either to the sanctuary or the chapel. Your willingness to cope the disruption involved is greatly appreciated
3. Eco-Congregation link person
St Andrew Blackadder is a member of Eco-Congregation Scotland. This is one way we express our concern for the sustainability and renewal of the earth. At the moment there is no link person.
Are you concerned with sustainability? Would you like to discover what other churches locally are thinking and doing? Would you be willing to share this with St Andrew Blackadder? If so, maybe you could be the link person. Please speak to Julie in the office. And if you’d prefer do it with another person that would work well.
