Weekly Update, 21st November 2025

1. Sunday 20 November
Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The theme is How to meet God each day. And the passage Luke 1:1-4. Now that the Bible course is complete, how do you go about creating a daily rhythm of prayer and Bible reading? More info about some useful resources are below.
Christmas Choir. Rehearsals continue at 11.50 am.

2.Day of Prayer Saturday 29 November
The Church of Scotland invites everyone to pray for the nation this coming Saturday. Here are three ways you can do this:
a. Come to the church building between 1 and 2 pm to join others in the downstairs chapel. The hour will begin and end with a few songs. In between you can either pray on your own or with others.

3. Messy Church 30 November 4 – 6 pm.
This comes a week earlier than the usual pattern. Advent will the the theme. A great way for families to begin thinking about the coming of Jesus.

5. Christmas Trees: Bethany Christian Trust
Belhaven Parish Church is once again the Christmas tree pick up location for Bethany Christian Trust’s Caring Christmas Trees project. Trees can be collected from Belhaven on Saturday 13th December. Other dates and locations are available.
If you’re going to buy a tree why not buy one that will make a difference. All money raised from Caring Christmas goes directly towards the practical and long-lasting commitment Bethany have toward ending homelessness in Scotland, one person, one family, and one community at a time. Every Sunday in Prayer Room between 10 and 10.20 am
