Weekly Update, 6th March 2026

1. Sunday8 March

Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (live-streamed).  Donna Kellock will lead us in worship, The passage is John 9 and the theme, Gene Therapy!

 

 

2. Real Easter Eggs

Real Easter Eggs will cost £5 and are now available to order using the ‘sign up sheets’ at both the back and the front of the church. There is also an opportunity to gift eggs to the East Lothian Foodbank. Out of the 80 million Easter Eggs sold in the UK each year, the Real Easter Egg is the only one that tells the Easter story. Last date for orders is Sunday 15 March; ordered eggs available after both services on Sunday 22^nd March. Cash or card.

 

 

3. Good Friday Event on 3rd April At 2.50 p.m. – We meet at the stone cross near the Seabird Centre. Then, led by the wooden cross, we will walk along Victoria Rd. and down the High St.

At 3 p.m. – On the church steps Mark’s account of Jesus’ death and resurrection will be read aloud.  Do come and join the church family as we seek to share the joy of what Jesus has done for us.

4. Parenting Workshops North Berwick Christian Fellowship have organized two parenting workshops.

– Handling Anxiety and Other Big Emotions in Kids, Monday March 9, 7.15-9.00 pm

– Understanding the Teenage Brain, Monday April 27, 7.15-9.00 pm. Both events are in Abbey Church Hall,  run by an experienced Child and  Family Counsellor, and are ticketed.  Tickets are available from www.nbcf.church, £15 per person, £25 for a couple.  If money is an issue, speak to Neil.

 

 

5. Prayer Gatherings

Every Sunday in Prayer Room between 10 and 10.20 am

Every Monday in Room 1 between 10 and 11 am.

Every Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm.
