Suggested topics for each day of the week.
SUNDAY, Pray for Neil and all the others who will be taking part in worship this morning. Pray too for all who will receive a recording of the service. Remember the ministers and congregations in the other churches in our area.
MONDAY, Pray for all who are organising the Holiday Club which will take place later in the summer. Remember too all the children and young people who will attend. Pray for Scripture Union and other organisations who are planning to run camps and missions during the school holidays and for all the young people who will attend.
TUESDAY, Continue to pray for the leaders and those who will attend the activities which may be still running during the coming weeks – including Beacon, Table Tennis, Little Angels and Youth Club.
WEDNESDAY, Remember those you know who are finding life difficult at the moment as a result of ill health, advancing years, financial difficulties or family issues. Pray that as members of our fellowship we may always be willing to seek out ways to help and encourage.
THURSDAY, Pray for our town and for those who strive to make it such an attractive place in which to live. Think of the doctors, nurses and heath visitors, the members of our community council and the shopkeepers and traders who serve us each day.
FRIDAY, Think about some of the world issues which we hear about on the news each day. Pray for Christians who are having to maintain their faith in very difficult situations and remember those who are separated from their family by war and strife.
SATURDAY, Give thanks for all the good things which we have to enjoy and pray for those who are very negative about all the is happening. Pray that we will be a good witness to all around us.
