3rd August 2023, Weekly Update

1. Sunday 6 August

Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed).                                         The passage is Matthew 14:13-21, the theme, No problem is too big for God

Caroline White will be visiting from Pakistan and updating us on her work over there.

2)   Hunger Lunch, will be on next Sunday, the 13^th of August at 12 noon. This is a relaxed, informal, simple lunch of soup, rolls and tea/coffee. Donations given go to support the Malawi Orphans project.

3)   Sustaining North Berwick will be holding some events at the upcoming Fringe-by-the-Sea. For anyone interested in attending, each session starts at 2:15 in the Green Zone on the Caledonian Horticulture trailer in the Lodge Grounds. The program is available on our website and the FbTS website as well as on our noticeboards.

4)   Young Carers Art Show– This annual show by 4 local artists to benefit the Young Carers of East Lothian will be in the chapel from Wed 9^th – Sat 12th of August from 10 – 4pm. The Beacon will be providing refreshments!

5)   The New Church Directory has arrived! It will be available after both services on Sunday and from the office. £1 cash per copy. Thank you to Julie L for all her work putting this latest edition together for us.

6)   Prayer Gathering

Each Wednesday on Zoom between for 30 minutes starting at 7 pm. For log in details contact the office.
