2)   Worship on Sunday 23 June

Services return to their usual pattern in the church building at 9.30 am and 10.30 am. Junior Church and YF will be at 10.30 am, and that is the service which will be streamed. The passage if Colossians 3:1-11 and the theme, Are you a thermostat or a thermometer?

3)   Galilee Garden

One of the Gift Day projects is to help fund the Galilee Garden in Israel.  It is the brain child of Rev Muriel Pearson who works with the Church of Scotland in Israel. She spoke very movingly at morning services in St Andrew Blackadder on 31 Dec 2023.

Muriel’s ministry is focused on hospitality, welcome and bridge building. She is based at the Church of Scotland centre which overlooks the Sea of Galilee. Her vision is to develop the garden, which currently is a wilderness, into a place of prayer and peace. From Gift Day the congregation intends to give £5,000 – a tangible expression of our longing that shalom (God’s peace) may come to this troubled part of the world.
