- Sunday 9 February Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed) will be led by Donna Kellock. The passage is Mark 4:1-20 and the theme, Reckless Love!
2) Sunday morning Tea & Coffee service. We are in need of folks to join the rota to serve refreshments after the Sunday services. A team of 2 or 3 is required each week to keep the service going. Usually each team only has to help 2 or 3 Sundays a year. Training and cheat sheets will be given– Please contact Julie in the office for more info or to sign up.
3) Spring Concert Sunday 23rd February, 7pm in the Sanctuary. BBC Young Musicians of the year finalists, music by Handel, Schubert, Schumann & Mozart. Tickets available at Greens & Blues or on the door, £15 adults, Children free.
4) St Columba’s Hospice are opening a café, second-hand bookshop, new gifts and art gallery in the Westgate in April. They are looking for a variety of volunteers (role descriptions attached) and can offer flexible hours and commitment. They have two information sessions planned for volunteers that will have updates about the shop, product samples and information about training. Thur 13th Feb 10.30am – 12.30pm & Wed 5th March 10.30am – 1pm in the Hope Rooms.. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided.
