Services at 9.30 and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). This is Guild Sunday. Ann Cubitt will preach on the Guild Theme, Whose we are and whom we serve. The passage is Acts 27:13-26
Hunger Lunch will be served in the church hall from noon. This is a simple lunch of soup and rolls. You are invited to donate the cost of a normal lunch which will go to support Kauma Orphan’s Village in Malawi.

3) The Guild meets on Tuesday 14th October at 2 pm in the Chapel. The speaker will be Philip Dodsworth from Blood Bikes of Scotland. Come and learn more about what this organisation does. The usual refreshments will be available too.
4) Blue Egg Boxes
Messy Church would love to receive any empty BLUE egg boxes you have. Only BLUE ones work – please don’t bring any other colour. FYI Tesco and Sweet News sell eggs in BLUE boxes. Please bring to the church office before the end of October.
5) Blythswood Shoeboxes. Filled with small, practical items such as toiletries, stationery, and clothing, the individually-wrapped boxes are distributed in schools,hospitals, orphanages and care homes, and to households in very low income communities. This year’s boxes are going to eight different countries – Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. Please fill and return shoeboxes by Sunday 26th of October.
6) The Quiet Revival
