5. The Church Weekend 5th – 7th June 2026
This is now our 5th Church Weekend which has gone from strength to strength. The weekend is held each year at Scoughall SU Camp just outside North Berwick.
The youth are invited to stay over on both the Fri and Sat nights with their own programme and attend the altogether worship sessions on the Sat and Sun.
We had over 95 people attend on Saturday and over 115 people on Sunday. The age ranged from 1 to over 95. What an amazing Church family.

The programme was varied and included:-
• Three worship sessions with a Junior Church programme
• Two praise sessions (new for 2026)
• A Prayer Tent
• All Church camp fire including Messy Church, Little Angels and Parentspace families
• A Sand castle competition
• A family Ceilidh with a live Ceilidh band
• A craft tent
• Bouncy castle, pool and table tennis
• Go Karts which were a new addition this year
• Outdoor trampoline
• An assault course
• A BBQ
• Amazing food, coffee and more and more cakes
• And much more.

We were pleased to welcome back Ed Tulloch for a second year to lead our three worship sessions. Ed’s topic for the weekend was “A Playlist for life” from the Psalms. We studies how the Jewish pilgrims travelled to Jerusalem as a pattern for us as we Journey for Jesus through this period of change. Ed is fully involved at Hope Church at the Gyle in Edinburgh.
A big thank you to all who helped and contributed to the success of the Church Weekend and all those who attended.
We are now planning for June 2027

All lost property from the weekend away is in the office during the week and will be in room 1 on Sunday morning for you to collect.
