  1. Sunday 27 August Communion will be celebrated at both the 9.30 am and 10.30 am services. If you are participating in the online service you might want to organise your own bread and wine so you can share in this part of worship too.

The passage will be John 4:4-30 and the theme, The Great Commission NOT the Great Suggestion. This is the title of chapter 3 of Sleeping Giant by Tommy MacNeill. Many of you, I know, have started reading it and are finding it both relevant and challenging. I have bought some more copies which will be on sale after coffee priced £7. 6)   Message from Martin Memorial Church, Gangtok Warm greetings from Elder Aaron Targain and Seema Targain of Martin Memorial Church in Gangtok. It has been nearly a decade since our last visit to St. Andrew Blackadder Church, North Berwick and we wanted to reach out and send our heartfelt regards to all of you.

We were overjoyed and truly blessed to have had the pleasure of having Priscilla and John Smail at our church in Gangtok for the past couple of days. Their visit brought back fond memories of the wonderful times we shared together during our days in North Berwick.

We wanted to let you know that even though the years have passed, our thoughts and prayers have always been with you. We hold the memories of our time together close to our hearts, and we cherish the friendship we built with each and every one of you.

As we reflect on our shared experiences, we sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to see you all again in the near future. It would be a great joy to reconnect, catch up, and share in the fellowship that we once enjoyed together.

Please know that our prayers continue to be with you and the entire congregation of St. Andrew Blackadder Church. May you be blessed abundantly in all your endeavours, and may the love and grace of God fill your lives each day.
