- Prayer Day Saturday 16 March
In the church building from 9.30 till 3.00 pm. Come when you come. Stay as long as you want. There will be different ways of praying to suit all kinds of people. Join others in praying for the nation, the community, the church and your own circle. Part of the day is a Prayer Walk beginning at Law Primary School at 9.30 am.
2) Sunday Worship
Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The theme is Faithful Stewards. The passage is Luke 19:11-27 (also 1 Peter 4:7-11). At the 10.30 service two people will publicly profess their faith in Jesus and become members of the congregation.
Wear a Badge Do you have a badge you sometimes wear? If so, please wear it to church on Sunday. It could be a group you belong to, for an achievement, to mark a milestone, or something you are passionate about. Whatever it is, if you are coming to the 10.30 service could you wear it?

3) It’s Friday but Sunday’s Coming
The incredible good news is when life feels helpless and hopeless (the Good Friday feeling), there is hope. Jesus rose from the dead. Please help share this good news.
– Invite friends and family to share in worship on Easter Day. Start praying now.
– Distribute Easter Cards to homes in North Berwick. Collect an envelope for a particular street after the service beside coffee. Hugh and Ian will be there and they’d also love talk to you about taking cards for your street if you live outside the parish.
4) Sustainability: Church Building
The congregation is committed to reducing the CO2 emissions generated by heating the church building. Step 1 was to commission a consultant’s report. This indicated that the simplest way to make the biggest difference is to focus on the church hall. It recommended installing a heat pump and adding insulation. Step 2 was to work out the best way to do this. This week the Kirk Session will consider a proposal that has been developed over the winter. I’ll keep you informed as this moves forward. In the meantime if anyone would like a copy of the consultant’s report, contact Julie.
