Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The passage is James 1:13-27 and the theme, Navigating Life Well.
ASM The Annual Stated Meeting of the congregation will take place at 11.50 am in the Sanctuary. At it Keith, our Treasurer will go through the accounts for 2024. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about any aspect of the congregation’s life.
2. Christian Aid Week. 11-17 May
Support the important work Christian Aid do in a number of ways
– Coffee Morning, Saturday 17 May, Church Hall, 10 am. Volunteers to help are needed, as is baking and contributions for the Gift and Plant stall. Contact Barbara Clark, Liz Craigie or the Church Office to offer your help or for more information.
– Concert at St Baldred’s, Sun 18 May, 7pm, Cottee family play Light Classics. Tickets, £15 which includes refreshments.
– Donate online at https://give.christianaid.org.uk/donate/A002958 or using a Christian Aid envelope available in the church building.
3. Guild Coffee Morning on Saturday 24th of May, 10 – 12 noon in the hall. In aid of Bibles for Bairns & Crossreach: Playful Beginnings. Volunteers to help are needed as is baking and contributions for the gift & bookstall. Offers of help & more info from Ann Braid
4. Church Weekend Away Sat 7 and Sun 8 June
A fabulous opportunity to grow in faith and deepen connections with others in the congregation. Suitable for all ages. Conveniently located at Scoughall. It’s just 5 miles down the road – but it feels like the other side of the country. Get the benefit of sleeping in your own bed, without having to prepare any meals.
The event runs 12.30 – 20.00 on Saturday, 9.30 – 15.30 on Sunday. Come when you can. Leave when you must. All welcome. Please complete a registration form to help with catering.
