Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (live-streamed). The passage is John 21:15-25 and the theme, Has following Jesus become stale for you?
If you have not yet had the chance to write in the book for Neil’s retirement, it will be available after the service on the communion table.
2. Messy Church needs your help. Are you able to give Messy Church a try as a craft volunteer? Our last Messy Church of the season is on Sunday 10th May before we break for the summer- no need to commit beyond the May session. And if you enjoy it then you might want to volunteer again. Messy Church needs lots of volunteers each month. Please pray about whether you can help. Further details from Alison Singleton in the Directory.
3. “Gather” Worship evening, TONIGHT- Friday 1st May, 7-8.30pm at North Berwick High School, worship is led by Neil & Jo Thompson of the NB Christian Fellowship. All are very welcome.
4. The Guild is hosting a concert by the Edinburgh Gilbert and Sullivan Society in the church on Friday 8th May at 7.30pm. There will be songs from Iolanthe, the Grand Duke and other G&S delights. All proceeds to the Guild projects Bear Necessities Bulgaria and Operation Hope Egypt. Tickets are £10 for adults, children free and are available from Greens and Blues or Ann Braid, or at the door on the night. Please come along for a great, fun filled evening to support worthy causes.
3. ASM- will be held on Sunday 10th May at 12 noon in the Sanctuary.
5. Christian Aid
United Service, Sunday 10th May at 6pm at Abbey Church
Coffee Morning, Saturday 16th May in St Andrew Blackadder church hall.
6. Event help, There are several events coming up that require stewarding teams. Stewards sit in the sanctuary by one of the exits, ready to assist in a speedy evacuation in the unlikely case of an emergency with the bonus of watching the show without a ticket! We also need team leaders / fire officers. So Sunday morning Welcome team leaders or anyone that has acted as team leader before is suited. Are you able to help? Please contact the office.
