1. Kirk Session Conference Saturday 1 March
Please pray that all present will have a clear sense of God’s priorities for St Andrew Blackadder in the next few years.
2. Sunday 2 March
Services at 9.30 am and 10.30 am (also live-streamed). The passage is Mark 5:21-43 and the theme, Resisting Peer Pressure.
Messy Church runs from 4 to 6 pm. Messy Church is a different way to be church which is particularly suitable for families with younger children. If you know any, why not invite them to come. Better still, offer to come with them!
3. Green Questionnaire
Have you fitted a heat pump or solar panels? Have you added insulation or double glazing to your home? Have you got an electric or hybrid car? If you have, are you pleased with the outcome? What advice would you give?
Lots of people have taken some of these steps. Lots of others are thinking about them. Attached is a short questionnaire. Its purpose is to allow people in the congregation to help each other as everyone works out how to live more sustainably.
Any information you share will be only used within the congregation.
4. Guild Tuesday 4 March 2.00 pm
A joint meeting with Abbey TAG. Adrian Armstrong from the Scottish Bible Society will be talking about another of the new Guild Projects, Bibles for Bairns. Come along to find out more about this project which will provide free material for young children every year until they turn five. It is something that you have to register for so might be of interest to those church members with small grandchildren. You will be assured of a warm welcome and refreshments before you go home.
5. Communion 6 March, 1.00 pm
Communion will be celebrated at the Beacon Service on Thursday at 1 pm.
6. World Day of Prayer, 7 March, 3.00 pm
The annual joint World Day of Prayer service for North Berwick will be at St Baldred’s Church on Friday.
7. Gather Worship Night Friday 7th March 7.00 -8.30 pm
At North Berwick High School, hosted by North Berwick Christian Fellowship. All welcome.
